Lay-by bike snatch appeal.

Police in Selby have issued pictures of a stolen motorcycle they are appealing for the public’s help to locate.

The Suzuki TL 1000 was stolen between 5pm and 5.30pm on Friday 11 November 2011, from a lay-by on the A1246 between Brotherton and Fairburn. The rider had parked the bike after it ran out of fuel.

The motorcycle is blue and white. At the time of the theft it bore the registration number T380CFM.

PC Graham Smith, of the Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the theft or has seen the motorcycle since it was stolen and ask hat they contact police or, if they would prefer to pass information on anonymously, Crimestoppers.”
