Glastonbury Traffic Warning.

Drivers are advised that motorways and major A roads leading to and from the Glastonbury Festival site, at Pilton in Somerset are likely to be busy on Wednesday June 23, Thursday June 24 and Monday June 28 as festival goers arrive and leave.

The following motorways and Highways Agency roads are likely to carry traffic for the festival: A303, M4 and M5.

Pilton is situated five miles outside of Glastonbury and festival traffic has very little impact on the town itself.

The Highways Agency, which manages the motorways and major A roads in England, is advising drivers to plan and check their travel routes in advance, and to keep up-to-date with the latest road conditions.
