Second Bike Seized In Brighouse.

Illegal off-road motorcyclists are being warned to stay away – or risk having their pride and joy seized and crushed.
Some off-roaders have been spotted riding their bikes in and around Elland, Lightciffe and Rastrick.
Youths, who rarely have insurance for the bike and often do not wear a helmet are riding along paths and on school fields illegally.
But officers from the Lower Valley Neighbourhood Policing Team are already taking action – and seized a bike on Wednesday 24 March.
Inspector Mohammed Nawaz in charge of the NPT, said:
“These bikes are dangerous and very noisy and we are taking action against them.”
“I want this to be warning to youngsters thinking of riding these bikes – we will catch you and we will seize your bike.”
Once a bike is seized the rider has to be able to provide proof they have a valid driving licence and insurance policy for it.
If they are unable to do so then the bike will be crushed into a small block of metal.
“We will not hesitate to seize these bikes and turn them into scrap metal,” added Insp Nawaz.
