Ilkley RFC has now received full planning permission from Bradford MDC to build our new Community Clubhouse.
We are now optimistic that our external funders, namely Sport England, the RFU and Bradford Council will submit the various amounts of money that they have individually promised.
The proposed schedule is set out below.
- Tenders will be sent out early April 2010
- The successful contractor will be appointed June 2010
- The project will kick off on site July 2010
- Completion of clubhouse scheduled April 2011
The total figure for the project to include pre construction expenditure, construction costs, fittings, fees and contingencies is £1,400,000 + VAT.
Ilkley RFC has self funded a massive £850,000 which includes a most welcome contribution from Ilkley Parish Council, with the balance of £550,000 to be generously assisted by Sport England, the RFU and Bradford MDC.
A huge and genuine thankyou to all Club members and Corporate organisations who have made welcome contributions to the development fund, and a massive vote of thanks and congratulations to the hard working club members who have organised and taken part in fund raising activities to make all this possible.
